Starting from Catania, head to Savoca, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in Sicily, the protagonist of numerous scenes in the film. The first stop is Bar Vitelli, located right at the entrance to the village, where Michael Corleone asks Apollonia's father for his daughter's hand in marriage. Here, you can take the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing lemon granita, and then continue strolling through the characteristic narrow streets. Once you reach the historic center of the town, visit the church of San Nicolò (or Santa Lucia), where one of the most famous scenes of the film, the wedding of the main characters, was recorded. Enjoying a breathtaking view, then move on to Forza D'Agrò, a famous medieval village that serves as the backdrop for numerous sets of the renowned film work.
